The season is just turning to Autumn, so this pre-dawn shot saw me kicking up frosty clouds as I tramped to my viewpoint.

While concentrating on Maine lighthouses, it would have been rude not to visit the East Quoddy (or Head Harbour) Lighthouse, across the border in Canada.

At low tide, you can reach the lighthouse, though watch out for the treacherously slippery seaweed!
